Scotland Trip // Part 2

The second day there, we all went to lunch in the city, and strolled through the busy streets and came across the sight of Edinburgh Castle up on it's hill. Being drawn to it, we walked towards it and found ourselves in the beautiful Princes Street Gardens.

Scotland Trip // Part 1

As I mentioned a couple weeks ago, Anthony and I traveled to Scotland (Edinburgh to be exact) for our friends Brett and Liz's wedding! It was such a great trip, and their ceremony was absolutely amazing! And being part Scottish myself, it was a wonderful opportunity to see where my ancestors came from! We took so many pictures while we were there, which I will share with you in the next few posts.

The photos above are from our first day there. Anthony, two of Liz's girlfriends, and I went on a little walk around the neighborhood where we were staying, while Brett and Liz had a meeting with their photographer. The city of Edinburgh is so old and beautiful.

Day Trip: Tejon Ranch

A work friend of ours lives up in Tejon Ranch with his wife, and occasionally have gatherings at their place for deep pit barbecues. This past time we went up, he also decided to break out some of his aged beer bottles and have a tasting with all of us. We were so excited, because a lot of the beers he had (specifically Stone Brewing Co.'s early Vertical Epic bottles) you can't find anymore. So to be able to taste the aged ones was a real treat! Here are some of the photos I took that day.

Tresa's Bridal Shower

My sister-in-law, Tresa, is getting married this year, and I just recently attended her bridal shower! I love gatherings like this! It was so much fun meeting all her friends and playing silly games, and the whole day was a pleasant reminder that we have a beautiful wedding to look forward to in just a few short weeks!

And speaking of weddings, Anthony and I leave for Scotland tomorrow for our friends Brett and Liz's! ....Scotland! So excited and grateful to be able to be there and help them celebrate their special day!
